PORK CHOPS WITH CRANBERRY PORT
WINE SAUCE
 
1 bag fresh cranberries
1 c. water
1 c. sugar
1 c. Port wine
1/2 c. flour
1 c. olive oil
5 or 6 well sized boneless pork chops

Heat water and sugar until boiling. Add cranberries bring to boil; simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat. In a frying pan pour oil and heat, while heating, flour pork chops. When oil is hot, fry pork chops until golden brown. Drain most of oil. Pour port wine in pan, then cranberries. Heat until moderately hot, then sparingly pour over chops.
