I used to make this exact recipe almost 20 years ago and everyone loved it! I'm SO excited to put it back into my repertoire!

I used to make this for my mom and dad when I was a teenager . I used to make more often in the summer when school was out. They were working day and night sometimes so I had to cook. I would buy bisquick and use their recipes that came in the box. Mom loved the peaches with the chicken. I don't make it now because of the lard. But I remember it was delicious. I would also serve with broccoli and cheese or asparagus .

I never used lard when I make it. I use shortening. What is the oven temperatures? The receipe has always been in my head. It was in a Betty Crocker cookbook from the 50's or 60's that my mother had. It got thrown away.
