Who doesn't love the smell of warm cinnamon on a cold winter night? I recently made this recipe and found that it lacked the wow factor I so wanted. I'm wondering if a drizzle of icing would make it better. I am going to try again!

 Debbie (Ohio) replies:
You want the wow factor - try this! Substitute the biscuits with white frozen dough cut into pieces - Let the dough rise for that cinnamon roll at the fair taste. Make an icing of: 1 cup powdered sugar, 2-3 tablespoons milk and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Add more milk or powdered sugar to make thinner or thicker

I found it took over an hour to bake and all the pieces of dough did not fit into a bundt pan. Had to use a loaf pan.

It was delicious, although my boyfriend is very picky (even more with anything burnt or even passed just cooked), the outside seemed to be a little too crisp for him, I personally don't mind things like that, but did I do something wrong maybe? I believe if I had taken it out any sooner it would not have been done in the center...?

I too found this recipie to be a little on the dry side. It's still a good recipie; not too hard to make, and tasty outcome.

 Loranne (New York) replies:
If it's dry for you, it may be your oven temperature is too high for what it reads or maybe you baked too long. Anything baked will be dry if over baked. I found this recipe to be amazingly simple and good. My kids love it! This is a keeper.

I put half the sauce over 2 tubes and the other half on top. I also add the raisins to the sauce before pouring over biscuits. Kids love these.

I have made this for years and I found to my liking is adding walnuts, and then for the frosting I use store bought... Anyway, you like it is up to you... Still a crowd pleaser.
