Peach Bread Pudding
 #41915
 Jackie (Washington) says:
This came out really good! I have never made bread pudding before, so I was very pleased. I used whole wheat white bread, not stale, 8 slices in total since they were small & rather thin. I also added a teaspoon of almond extract, and about 2 teaspoons of good quality madagascar bourbon vanilla. I poured the fresh peach slices on top of the mixture & then sprinkled on a little more sugar, instead of mixing them in the bread pudding. It came out with a raised edge at the outside, and almost looked like a fruit tatin instead of the pans of bread pudding I've seen before. Beautiful!

I used 11 slices of whole wheat bread and a large can of sliced peaches. I added 1/2 tsp of ground cinnamon and a tsp of vanilla. Really good!
