PLEASE... everyone remember. Bake times are different - all depending on your own oven. Recipe is excellent. Love the different additional idea's from others. Try recipe as listed first... then proceed with your changes. Remember, there are a lot of new cooks - that love idea's. Please continue to posts your great recipes. I check this site daily - as do most. I often make out next weeks grocery list - depending on a new recipe I want to try. No other website - can touch this one.

I'd just like to say the recipe looks yummy as is,Ive been cooking 4ever not bragging but I can tell how a recipe will be b4 I cook it. That being said I put it together as written, but if I feel it two bland or spicy or other things can b added or subtracted I do so I don't tear apart someone else's recipe. I respect that they have shared it, ty for sharing. I will say I am a creative cook and I do like to tweak accordingly for my family's likes. Once again I will make your recipe as written 1st and I can tell it will be good tyty!

The steaks were really tasty and very tender. I am trying to stay away from frying as much as possible and this was just what I was looking for. Thank you for the recipe. I'll be using it often!

I bought some steaks because they looked so nice but wasn't sure how to cook them. Saw this recipe and gave it a try. It was fantastic! I don't know how many people I told about this and they have tried it and raved about it. I now look for pork butt steaks every time I go to a certain market and this is how I cook them. I can't thank you enough for sharing!

Sounds tasty and easy, I will have to try this, thanks for the recipe! I usually season our pork steaks with Lawry's Seasoning Salt and granulated garlic powder, sear them with a tablespoon or so of olive oil in a large frypan (until browned) then put them in a small roaster while I make a quick sauce by dumping a can of Campbell's Cream of Mushroom soup in the drippings with about 1/2 cup of milk and a bit more garlic powder and a dash of Thyme (double if you like lots of gravy), stir until combined and pour over the steaks, cover and bake at 350°F for 30-45 minutes while cooking my sides (usually mashed potatoes and fresh green beans though Niblets are a family favourite too). Meat comes out super tender and the gravy isn't too shabby either. :)

I would recommend not burning the garlic bread on the side. Also I added onions, eggplant slices, tomato, and peeled apple slivers and cooked about twice as long. Served with salad on the side. Like I said, don't forget the garlic breads in the oven. Still a good meal!

OMG! Delicious using Rastelli pork steaks. This recipe was amazing!

Flavor is fantastic! Cooking temp and time not even close. The steak was still fully red in the middle. Yes, it was fully thawed before cooking. This recipe is really good, but needs the cooking temp and time adjusted.

Amy - I discovered Cooks.com a few years ago and it has been a true lifesaver!!!
This recipe is super easy and since our grill is MIA - cooking in the oven is necessary.

The recipe is fine but 20-30 minutes is not enough. I baked one .9 lb pork steak and it took 50-55 minutes before it was done.

 Karen Costello (Ohio) replies:
I agree, 30 minutes is not long enough. I poured 2 cans of Cream of chicken on top and cooked with lid on for 55 minutes.

The recipe says he used 8oz steaks. How about actually reading it instead of skimming?
