So good and delicious! I was looking for something different to cook and I loved this casserole. The only thing I would change the next time, will add 2 cans chili with beans (15 oz. each) and 1/2 cup water. I shredded the rest of the cheese on top. So good, the kids loved it too. Thanks for the great dish!

LOVE this different idea. Will be fast/easy for one of those nights when I JUST do not want to cook. I will probably add (when served)... chopped onion and hot sauce. Thanks for submitting!

My 5 star rating is actually based on my recipe. I've been eating this since I was a little girl, I'm over 50 :) Only thing is u should use a lot of chili, and no need to add cheese inside hotdog / noodle. Put small layer of chili on bottom of casserole dish, cook noodles al dente, stuff dogs in noodles, place on top of chili sprinkle cheese (tons is best lol), we always have second layer, put more chili on top of stuffed hot dog layer, add another layer of stuffed hot dogs, put more chili on top then lots of cheese. Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes.

I make homemade chili, I always make extra on purpose and freeze. I use my homemade chili, but if u use can use a few cans. This is one meal, u want a nice amount of chili when u serve this.
