FRIED CABBAGE 
1 head of cabbage
1/2 lb. bacon (about 8 slices)
4 large potatoes, diced
1 medium onion, chopped
salt and pepper, to taste
1/2 cup water

Take and cut bacon into about 1 1/2-inch slices and put into bottom of hot skillet. Cook on low to medium heat.

Take core of cabbage out and chop. Place cabbage in skillet on top of bacon as well as your onions. Salt and pepper to taste. Drizzle a little water over top not all just a tad bit. Cover and let steam.

Check on it constantly as water dries up and a little more while stirring cabbage. Repeat as often as you need to.

Cabbage is done when potatoes are soft. Enjoy! Servings will vary upon size of cabbage.
