FRIED CABBAGE 
1 lb. sausage or hamburger or 2 to 3 slices bacon
2 c. onion, chopped
1 med. head cabbage, sliced
1 can chicken broth
1 clove garlic, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
2 med. potatoes, sliced

Fry meat in large pan, add onions, garlic, potatoes and cabbage. Simmer until mixture turns light brown, stirring frequently. Pour in chicken broth, add salt and pepper. Cover and simmer until brown. Very good.

I tried this recipe but I altered some of the ingredients. Since I don't care for chicken broth I used beef bouillon. Used garlic powder instead I added french fried onions over the top and it was great!
