This recipe is easy and delicious... I should have posted this awhile ago, I've made it several times already... I use a lil shy of 1/2 cup oatmeal though and also, u may need to cook a lil longer than a half hour but this is good!

I can not find Lipton Tomato Onion Soup Mix in any of the local grocery stores. Do they still make this product?

 Jane (Wisconsin) says:
The soup mix is just Onion soup mix not Tomato Onion. Great recipe.

I use this recipe and double in size for large family with cooking time about 1 hour and 10 minutes. I also substitute other Lipton recipe soup mixes to our liking or Hidden Valley Ranch mix. Oatmeal holds the best moisture keeping this dinner moist every time! Good meal to make any day of the week with ease. You can also turn it Mexican and use taco seasoning packets and top with salsa instead of ketchup for variety. So many ideas with this recipe as a base.

I make this often. I follow the recipe to the letter, except I bake for twice as long. Perfect every time.

Great recipe. I add a few more of my favorite spices but so easy and so good, I have shared this with many friends and family.

This recipe is ok, I just make one change to it and that is instead of oatmeal use Ritz crackers, 1-2 of the rolls depending on how much meat you are using. Brings it to a whole other level.

The meatloaf needs to stay longer in the oven about 50 mins total at 370°F in order for the meat to cook through ;)

I've been using this recipe for a few years. I use ground turkey instead and leave the meatloaf in the oven for exactly 1 hour. Otherwise, I don't change anything.

I make this all the time. Except I use 2lbs and cook it for 60 minutes. Otherwise, everything is the same. And it turns out perfect every time.

The recipe needed tweaking. Needed more seasoning like salt, pepper, onion powder. etc. Thirty minutes was not enough time for it to bake. About an hour at 375°F or until done. I tried 30 minutes at 350°F but meatloaf was not done. It turned out pretty but not real tasty. Overall very simple recipe. Will try it again but use more seasoning. Thanks.
