“MAKE AHEAD MACARONI SALAD” IS IN:

MAKE AHEAD MACARONI SALAD 
1 (1 lb.) pkg. elbow macaroni
1 large green pepper, seeded and chopped
4 carrots, shredded
1 onion, finely chopped
3/4 tsp. sea salt (or to taste)
1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
1 cup good quality vinegar
1 cup sugar
2 cups real mayonnaise
1/4 tsp. garlic powder (optional)
1/4 tsp. pepper

Prepare macaroni according to package directions. Mix remaining ingredients and add to drained macaroni. This will be fairly soupy. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

Stir well before serving.

Tip: You may skimp on the sugar to suit your own taste. During honey season, we use honey instead.

I halve the recipe for a household of one, leave out the onions as they tend to overpower the salad, add them just before serving. This was GOOD! Use your kitchen scale to weigh out condensed milk.
