Apple Crisp

This was SOOOO easy (took ten minutes max to prep, more like five). It was like HEAVEN fresh out of the oven, and was the perfect thing to pop in right before a meal to enjoy piping hot straight after. I can see myself doing this again and again for the rest of my life. Stock household ingredients make this a snap. I used just five apples, worked fine. I also added a tiny touch of pumpkin pie spice (it's October!) that I had on hand, and it was delicious. I also used a cinnamon-sugar mix instead of straight cinnamon.

This by far is the best recipe! The first time I made this, my husband could not stop eating it. Perfect measurements for everything. The second time I made this I doubled up on the crisp and added apple pie spice. I sprinkled the apples first with lemon juice and sugar and then poured the crisp over the apples and baked for 45 mins. Delish!

It was awesome and easy. I've made this recipe several times. Once I drizzled Carmel on the apples before baking and it was amazing. I've also mixed in 2-3 table spoons of pumpkin spice coffee creamer to the apples and that added a little more moisture and a lot more kick. Can not go wrong with this recipe

Delicious! I like to add a splash of vanilla and a pinch of cardamom.
