BILL'S COUNTRY STYLE PORK BBQ
RIBS (CROCK-POT)

5 lb. frozen or fresh country style pork ribs
1 medium yellow or white onion, sliced

BILL'S SPECIAL SAUCE:

1 (24-28 oz.) bottle of your favorite BBQ sauce (Sweet Baby Ray's works well)
Lea and Perrin's Worcestershire sauce (3 to 4 good shakes)
1 tbsp. black pepper
2-4 oz. sweet chili sauce (found in most Asian stores)
4-8 oz. whiskey/bourbon/rum (optional)
2-3 squeezes yellow mustard (any brand)
soy sauce (several dashes)
2-4 oz. Tonkatsu Sauce (found in most Asian stores)
Beaver Brand cream style horseradish (hot) (2-3 squeezes) or 1 tbsp. horseradish
2-4 oz. banana sauce (found in most Asian stores)
2-4 oz. FRANK'S® Original Hot Sauce
Tabasco Red Original (several spritzes)

In a large bowl, combine all sauce ingredients and use a wire whisk to mix ingredients completely (3 to 5 minutes of whisking).

Open package of ribs (frozen or fresh) and under cold water, rinse ribs one at a time, then place in bowl until well coated with sauce.

Cover bowl with aluminum foil and refrigerate for 12 to 24 hours (usually overnight).

When ready to cook, prepare slow cooker (Crock-Pot) by placing one medium sliced onion at the bottom of the cooker to cover most if not all surfaces.

Places ribs in cooker to cover as much cooking area as possible, then pour remaining sauce from bowl into the slow cooker over the ribs.

Place lid on cooker and cook on LOW for 6 hours (do not remove lid, as this will cause heat loss).

When ribs are finished, serve with coleslaw, potato salad, corn on the cob, or your favorite side dishes.

Serves 4 to 6.
