“HOT DOG CHILI SAUCE” IS IN:
NEXT RECIPE:  LEMON FISH SAUCE

HOT DOG CHILI SAUCE 
2 lb. ground beef
1 large onion, chopped
4 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
1/2 cup ketchup
1/4 cup barbecue sauce
1 tablespoon hot sauce
2 tablespoons yellow mustard

Sauté beef with onion. When beef begins to brown, add garlic. Turn heat to high and cook one more minute.

Stir in remaining ingredients and reduce heat to low. Simmer 10 minutes and remove from heat.

Line hot dog buns with a steamed or grilled hot dog and top with Chili Sauce mixture, then sprinkle with chopped onions and shredded Monterey Jack or Colby cheese.

Great to take along on Picnics!

WOW WOW WOW !!! Thank you CM!!!!! I am a lo-carb eater and made this with reduced sugar ketchup and a no carb carolina bbq sauce ...did add about two TBSP water...and used ground turkey....but OMGosh!!!! This is a wonderful recipe...THX THX THX!!

I served hot dogs with this chili sauce at a church function. The chili sauce was an instant hit. I had request for left-over, which of course there was not any. Also, instead of franks, people just wanted a chili dog. Outstanding recipes! Thanks

BUT, never put catchup on a hot dog. So says the inventor of the hot dog back in 1903 - Nathan. Everything else is OK
