2 lb. ground beef
small onion finely, diced
1 tsp. chili powder (or more if you like)
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce (Hunts)
salt and pepper, to taste
crushed red pepper flakes, to taste

In saucepan combine all ingredients. Turn heat on medium until it starts to cook then add 1/4 cup water and turn heat on low. Simmer for an hour.
