LORI'S SHORTBREAD COOKIES W/LARD | |
4 cups flour 1 cup lard 1 cup brown sugar 1 cup (2 sticks) butter Note: No substitutions! Mix all ingredients until smooth. Refrigerate for 1 hour. Roll dough out and cut with cookie cutters. Bake at 325°F for about 10 minutes. Tips: Keep dough chilled that you are not using, dough needs to be firm. Cookies should be "white" not golden brown or brown. Submitted by: Lori Cram |
