“BLUE CHEESE GRILLED BEEF BURGERS” IS IN:

BLUE CHEESE GRILLED BEEF BURGERS
2 lb. lean ground beef
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. salt and pepper
2 tbsp. FRANK'S® RedHot hot sauce
2 tbsp. Marie’s Blue Cheese Dressing
6 bulkie or hamburger rolls
6 large lettuce leaves
6 (1/4-inch thick) sliced onion rings
6 slices tomato
6 tbsp. blue cheese crumbles

Preheat grill or heat charcoal BBQ until coals are white.

In a bowl combine ground beef, hot sauce, seasonings and salad dressing.

Shape into 6 balls and flatten between plastic wrap or wax paper to make equal sized patties.

Wipe grill grates with vegetable oil. Cook patties until an instant read thermometer reaches 145°F in center, or until cooked through, turning once (about 5 minutes each side).

Brush rolls with melted butter and place on grill briefly just to brown cut edges. If desired, brush onion rings with oil and grill briefly (grilling the onions is optional but it makes them sweeter).

On each roll, layer a burger, a slice of lettuce, a tomato slice, and a slice of onion, sprinkle with blue cheese and a teaspoon of hot sauce, ketchup and/or mustard as desired.

Makes 6 servings.
