Add cold water and Everclear (or vodka), and stir to combine.

Pour the mixture into individual shot glasses or small plastic cups. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until firm.

Just before serving, carefully drizzle a small amount of grenadine over the top of each shot for a layered effect.
