GREEN BEAN CASSEROLE 
2 (15 oz. ea.) cans green beans, drained*
1 (10 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
3/4 cup milk
2 3/4 oz. French-fried onions, divided
1/8 teaspoon pepper

Combine green beans, soup, milk, pepper and 1/2 of the onions; gently stir together to mix well. Spread mixture in a 1 1/2 to 2-quart ovenproof casserole dish.

Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes. Top with remaining onions. Bake 5 minutes more.

Cooks Note: *May substitute 18 ounces frozen cut green beans, thawed and drained.

Add a dash of worchestershire sauce to the recipe and it is very delicious. You can also substitute cream of chicken soup instead of mushroom soup.

I use Cream of Chicken soup instead of Cream of Mushroom. Also, I place the soup in a pan and add the cheese to melt, then I stir that in the green beans, bake, then add the fried onions and more cheese, bake and yummmm

I use cream of celery all the time because I don't like mushrooms but it's not so much the taste but more the texture of mushrooms that I don't like so I have been known to eat it with the cream of mushroom as long as I didn't know it. Haha!

I use the cream of celery soup but I also use 1 can green beans and 1 can yellow wax beans plus the french fried onions and about 1/4 cup reg. Milk or half and half. Like the idea of adding cheese.
