Add one can of bean sprouts & grated sharp cheddar - use cream of asparagus for a twist! Easiest, quickest side dish ever.

I make this equal parts green beens and aspargus and some chopped artichoke hearts! I mix the soup with shredded cheddar and also a dash of worchestershire!

It tastes great. My aunty's recipe is almost the same. It is great even if you mix the green beans with fried onions too.

I used canned green beans with no salt, lower sodium cream of mushroom soup, salad topping onions with less salt and no one could tell the difference.

This is a wonderful side dish - I add 1/4 cup of Parmesean cheese and 1/4 cup seasoned breadcrumbs to the mix, saving a little to sprinkle on top for the final 5 minutes. Yum!

Love all the ideas. Add Bacon, Mushrooms, and Cheese. Turned out fantastic. Great beside Extra Crispy Chicken Wings. Also a great substitute for the Cream Of Mushroom is Cream Of Broccoli.. :) Enjoy

For vegan version, I used cream of cashews and almond milk. Just blend cashews with water until it gets creamy then add McKay's Chicken Style seasoning.

I add crumbled bacon (not bacon bits) & sliced almonds to the mix. Also I substitute garlic pepper for the plain pepper. Guaranteed hit!

My mom always makes this when we are going to a potluck, it is honestly my favourite casserole, and it's what has made me love green beans!
