FRIED TUNA STEAKS | |
2 tuna steaks 1 egg (and milk for egg wash) 2 tbsp. olive oil 2 tbsp. butter 1/3 cup all-purpose flour 1/3 Panko break crumbs 2 tbsp. sesame seeds 1 tbsp. parsley 1 tsp. garlic powder 1 tsp. Cajun seasoning 1 tsp. Old Bay seafood seasoning (or any seafood blend substitute) salt and pepper, to taste Whisk the egg and some milk together in a dipping bowl to prepare egg wash. In a separate bowl, mix all of the dry ingredients. Dredge tuna in the dry ingredients, then in egg wash and then again in the dry ingredients. Heat butter and olive oil in a skillet until sizzling hot. Add breaded tuna steaks and cook on medium heat until done. Note: For 1-inch tuna steaks this should take about 3 minutes per side for medium. Submitted by: Valeda Palazzolo |
