1 tsp. cinnamon
4 eggs
2/3 c. milk
8 slices bread
Vanilla, optional

Melt butter in 10 x 15-inch pan in oven. Mix sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle evenly into pan. Mix eggs and milk. Dip bread, soaking well (we sometimes prepare this an hour or so in advance and allow it to soak in the refrigerator).

NOTE: Use thickly sliced French bread or Texas toast for best results.

Tasted great! My wife and kids loved it too. Very simple to make. Followed other reviews and baked for a little over 20 min. Just enough milk and eggs for six slices of Honey Wheat bread. Will never fry my french toast again.

This was super yummy!! It took about 20 minutes. I did change it up a little. I added 1-2 teaspoons of pumpkin pie spice along with the cinnamon and next time I will definitely sprinkle sugar and cinnamon on the top before baking as well. My kids LOVED these :)

Really good! I used Texas toast and it took about 20 minutes. I also sprinkled some cinnamon sugar on the top. I've tried other recipes and I dislike mushy french toast, this recipe was perfect!

 Michele (Wisconsin) says:
I also had to bake for 20 min.. but I layered the bread with cinnamon and sugar sprinkled on between each layer. We then cut into squares and served. It was awesome this way.. got about 15 slices of regular wheat bread in the pan.. family loved it, will do it again!!

This recipe is delicious and really easy. I sprinkled some cinnamon sugar and cardamom powder on the top after I took it out of the oven and it was simply perfect.

This is excellent but the same as some of the other people that rated this recipe, it took 20 minutes in my oven to bake. I also used cinnamon-raisin bread for my french toast. I also sprinkled cinnamon-sugar on top as well.
