SARAH'S BEST HOMEMADE HOT
CHOCOLATE

1 tbsp. cocoa powder
2 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. water
1 c. milk
a bit of vanilla, if desired

Combine cocoa, sugar, and water in a small saucepan. Heat it on low heat, stirring occasionally to prevent the paste from sticking to the pan. After about 1 to 2 minutes, add milk and vanilla. Mix it all together until it reaches your preferred temperature.

This was the best hot chocolate! But I had to add some real chocolate to make it sweeter.

Sugar free - Instead of the sugar I used a sugar free french vanilla creamer. It was still delicious!

Wow, I can't believe that hot chocolate can get THAT good. I've tried other recipes for hot chocolate, but this one is rich and thick and amazing.

Oh my! It was amazing. I was surprized how great it was. I blended the recipe (except the sugar). I then stirred it in a saucepan and added cinnamon until it started to rise. It made it have that foamy, thick, sweetness that everyone loves!

It little too sweet for me. I will cut back on the sugar next time. Otherwise a great homemade hot cocoa recipe.

It wasn't sweet enough for me so I ended up adding a bit more sugar and cinnamon, then I put whipped cream on top to make it smooth and creamy. Very delicious and easy to make.

this was a great recipe. I did a quick and sugar-free version and it is delicious. I mixed 1 tbsp of cocoa, 1 tbsp. hot water (I have a water cooler with hot and cold tap), and 2 packets of Splenda. I put 1 c. of 2% milk in the microwave for 2 minutes. Poured cocoa mixture in hot milk and added 1 tsp. of vanilla. 4 minutes to great cocoa.
