BEST FRIED RICE EVER | |
Approximately 2 cups cooked white rice 3 or 4 tbsp. sesame oil 1 cup thawed, frozen peas and carrots 3 or 4 chopped green onions 1 small yellow or white onion 1 tbsp. chopped garlic 1/4 (or less) cup soy sauce 2 slightly scrambled eggs 1 cup chopped shrimp, chicken, pork (optional) In a large skillet, heat oil to medium hot. Lightly sauté onion, garlic, peas and carrots in sesame oil. Take it out and put aside while you lightly sauté seafood and shrimp (if adding). Set this aside with the other vegetables. Lightly scramble eggs in the now empty pan, then add the rice and the soy sauce and vegetables and any sautéed meat you may have. Enjoy it. It's the best I've ever made. Super Easy!
