1 pt. of shelled clams, cleaned and chopped 1 1/2 pkg. saltine crackers, crushed coarsely 1 egg Juice of clams Salt and pepper Blend together all ingredients, using enough clam juice to hold everything together and make patties, like hamburgers. Fry patties in fat or hot oil until golden brown. Set on paper towel to absorb any excess fat. Sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper and serve. |
