Years ago, when I was a child, my mother would follow this sort of formula for easy weeknight meals when Dad was away. We called it "snark" A derogatory term. Brown Snark indicated a beef concoction, red, a tomato, yellow, a cheese, and so on... Snark, on occasion, is edible but you and your kids can do better.

We always loved every meal made with this easy to remember recipe guide! Great for busy moms and caregivers! It's always as terrific as whatever ingredients you choose to use. I could make sure we got the essential nutrition (fiber, protein, veggies for vitamins) without dirtying lots of pans, waiting forever for it to cook, or spending a fortune. Quick and easy! One skillet to clean up.

After a house fire, being relocated a lot during that time, and 2 family members battles with cancer, we often did well to eat what was cooked for us or get takeout, and I lost track of this recipe. So happy to find it again and refresh my memory now that I have my kitchen back and am back to cooking at home instead of carry out.
