COCKTAIL MEATBALLS/ GRAPE JELLY
MEATBALLS
 
12 oz. grape Jelly
2 bottles of chili sauce
2 T. Lemon juice

Heat grape jelly until melted and smooth. Add chili sauce and lemon juice. Heat through and add frozen meatballs. Heat through and simmer for at least one hour. Make sure all meatballs get covered and simmer in sauce.

This recipe is a big hit. I've been making it for years. Instead of frozen meatballs, though, I use Tempo meatball mix and fresh ground beef. It doesn't really take that much extra time and it's well worth it.

I have used this same recipe and added cocktail franks instead of meatballs, great in a crockpot, easy and always enjoyed by everyone. At a party, you can make this far ahead and concentrate on other things, which makes hosting easier.
