"THE BEST" ROLLED OUT SUGAR
COOKIE
 
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. butter
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla

Sift together flour, salt, soda and baking powder. Cut in butter with pastry blender. Beat eggs light and add sugar and vanilla, then add flour mixture. Work well and chill. Roll and decorate if desired.

Bake at 350°F for 8-10 minutes or until lightly golden brown along edges - be careful not to overbake or cookies will be dry. Larger cookies take a longer time to bake.
