4 large potatoes
1 onion
salt and pepper
1 egg
1 tsp. baking powder
1 heaping Tbsp. flour for each potato

Grate potatoes and onion. Drain off liquid. Add egg. Mix well. Add flour and baking powder. Beat. Heap by tablespoons into large frying pan with enough oil to float them. Brown on both sides. Delicious with beef stew.
