BASQUE SKILLET DINNER | |
1 lb. Italian, turkey or bratwurst sausage, sliced 1/2 c. chopped onion 1 c. diagonally sliced celery 4 potatoes, peeled and diced 1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes 3/4 c. water 1 tsp. lemon juice 1 beef or chicken bouillon cube 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1/4 tsp. thyme Brown sausage in large skillet over medium heat. Add onion and cook until tender. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes, or until potatoes are tender. Makes 4-6 servings. |
