JANIE'S APPETIZER MEATBALLS 
1 lb. ground pork
1 lb. ground beef
2 c. soft bread crumbs
2 eggs
1/2 c. chopped onion
2 tbsp. chopped parsley
2 tsp. salt
1 (10 1/2 oz.) jar apricot preserves
1/2 c. BBQ sauce

The fine Italian bread crumbs (Progresso Brand) works great.

Combine meat, bread crumbs, eggs, onion and seasonings. Mix lightly. Shape into balls. Brown lightly in butter. Place in casserole. Combine preserves and BBQ sauce; pour over meatballs. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Makes about 50.
