SWEET AND SOUR APPETIZER MEATBALLS | |
MEATBALLS: 2 lb. lean ground beef 2 eggs 1/2 c. water 1/2 c. bread crumbs 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1/2 tsp. garlic powder SAUCE: 1 bottle Heinz chili sauce 1/2 c. grape jelly 3 tbsp. ReaLemon juice Mix everything for meatballs together with hands. Form into 1-inch balls. Heat sauce ingredients in an electric skillet on simmer until jelly is melted. Place unbrowned balls in sauce and simmer for 20 to 25 minutes. Shake skillet every 5 minutes to coat and brown balls evenly. Makes 60 (1 inch) meatballs. |
