I somehow forgot to add the sugar to the recipe and decided that it was wonderful without it...think about it; banana, chocolate chips? Try it, you'll like it.

I made it and I love it! I used two bananas but I think next time I'll try 3 to add more taste. And I had trouble with the chocolate chips. They all seemed to accumulate at the bottom. I'm a beginner with cooking so a helpful hint to prevent that next time would be great! But overall, best banana bread ever! Beats my mom's!!

Hi I read your review and enjoyed reading it. I also live in the State of Louisiana (been down here a year from the Northeast) I thought I would make a Banana bread for a Cajun friend who told me that he loves Banana bread and hasn't had any in a long time. He informed me that banana bread used to be very popular with the local Louisiana people to make but somehow got out of the practice of making it. I love the Cooks.com web site and refer to it often. I was wondering what you thought of the web site and if you use it often as well. Hope to read your response soon.

Toss the chocolate chips in a bit of the flour before adding them to the mixture to help prevent them from sinking to the bottom.

Very good and moist I made it with 2 small ripe bananas and about 5 fresh strawberries. And instead of adding the chocolate chips to the batter I sprinkled mini chips on the top it was wonderful!

I made this this morning. I roasted hazelnuts, rough chopped them and added them. It does not get any better that that. Thanks, will be making it from now on!
