COLORADO PEACH BREAD 
2 c. mashed peaches (1 1/2 lbs. very ripe fresh peaches)
2 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/8 tsp. salt
1 lg. egg, slightly beaten
2 tbsp. butter, melted
1/2 c. raisins or nuts

In a bowl, mix together flour, sugars, salt and baking soda. Drain mashed peaches and put in large bowl. Add beaten egg and melted butter. Stir in raisins or nuts. Stir in flour mixture. Pour into greased and floured 9"x5" loaf pan. Let stand 20 minutes. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 55 minutes. Cool in pan 15 minutes and finish cooling on wire rack.

Very good! I top with a bit of streusel and a drizzle of glaze. Now adapting for fresh sweet cherries.
