LARGE FAMILY BAKED MAC & CHEESE 
2 cups cottage cheese
3/4 cup Parmesan cheese (shredded works best)
1 egg (scrambled) in small dish
3/4 cup milk
1/2 tsp. garlic powder (or to your taste)
2 (16 oz. ea.) boxes elbow noodles
2 lb. sharp cheddar cheese
salt and pepper, to taste
milk

In a saucepan combine cottage cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, milk, and garlic. Cook over low heat until mixture is smooth. Your cheese mixture will thicken as it sits. Set aside and cook noodles, but do not over cook them because you still have to bake it.

When noodles are done take your casserole dish and start layering. Start with noodles, then your cheese sauce and drizzle around 5 tablespoons full over your noodles, now add cheddar cheese and salt and pepper. Keep layering to the top. On the top add the rest of the cheese mixture, your cheddar cheese (this should cover all noodles, a nice thick layer) and add your milk.

Note: You can take a knife and pull the noodles away from the side when you are adding the milk to see how much you are putting in. I fill about 1-inch or so.

Bake at 400°F till golden brown and bubbly!! Enjoy!
