O.K. people listen-up. This recipe is delicious but it's missing a few tweaks. First, you separate the biscuits. Then you cut them in half, crosswise. Second, pour a little of the syrup into the pan. I always make a little extra but I didn't the first time and it was fine. After dipping the biscuits in the white sugar and cinnamon mixture you place the curved side into the dome of the bundt pan standing up. You can kind of stretch them to make them fit the pan. You continue to build row upon row till till you're even with the rim. I always pour syrup over every layer, then it's never dry. And like Barb, I always add nuts and raisins into the syrup. Bake same amount of time and remove from pan immediately or it can stick. Perfect and delicious every time.

I referred to this recipe for baking temp and time as I made Monkey bread with my mom when I was little. Our recipe always called for a bundt pan and in the bottom a few cubes of real butter, brown sugar (just crumbled around) and a drizzle of corn syrup. This gave the top a yummy, gooey, top. The top hardened fairly fast but us kids ate it so fast it didn't matter.

After you cut the biscuits into 4 quarters, you take each quarter and roll it into a ball, then you can roll it around in the sugar and cinnamon. Also, if you want to make the butter and brown sugar part go a little faster, I just cut half a cup of butter from the stick butter and melted it in the microwave for about 30 seconds, then mixed in the brown sugar. Also, I normally only cook mine for about 35 minutes. That way it is a little bit soft and gooey.
I love these to death, they are the best and easiest things to make!

Just made this... YUM! A word to the new (like me): springform pans are a bad substitute... they leak!
