CONEY ISLAND SANDWICHES | |
2 lbs. ground beef 1 lb. Velveeta cheese 1 to 2 cans (sm.) chopped ripe olives 1/4 c. chopped onion Hotdog buns Paper towel/foil Brown ground beef in skillet with onions and drain fat. Cube Velveeta cheese and add to meat. Stir on low heat until cheese is melted. Add olives. When all is mixed, turn off heat and spoon into hotdog buns. Wrap in paper towel and put back into the hot dog plastic bag for freezer storage. You will have 20 plus sandwiches that can be eaten right away or stored in freezer and zapped in microwave for quick hot sandwiches. (May also be wrapped in foil for conventional oven use.) Serves 20. |
