SEA-FARING CHOWDER | |
1 c. chopped celery 1 c. chopped onion 1/2 c. chopped green pepper 1 clove garlic, minced 2 tbsp. oil 1 (1 lb. 13 oz.) can tomato sauce 1/4 c. uncooked rice 2 (6 1/2 oz.) cans tuna, drained 1 (4 oz.) can shrimp, drained 1 tsp. salt 1 bay leaf 1/4 tsp. marjoram or thyme Dash Tabasco 1 qt. hot water In deep kettle saute onion, celery, pepper and garlic in oil until soft. Add tomato sauce with remaining ingredients, stir, bring to boil and reduce heat to simmer, cover and cook 1/2 hour. 6 servings. |
