SEA FARING CHOWDER 
se a large 6 quart pot

2/3 stick butter
2 stalks chopped celery

Stir in 1 heaping tablespoon flour. Gradually add 1 cup milk until it just begins to boil.

dd:

1 qt. half & half and 1 qt. milk
3 cans minced clams with juice
1 can of shrimp (tuna fish size can), drained
1 can water packed tuna, drained
2 cans cream of potato soup
2 cans New England clam chowder
4 oz. jar chopped pimento, drained
1 tsp. dried thyme leaves
1 tsp. dried sweet basil leaves
1 tbsp. dried chives
1/4 c. dry onion flakes
1/4 c. fresh chopped parsley (save a small amount to sprinkle on top)
Dash of pepper
NO SALT!

Heat, stir, don't boil.
