HAMBURGER POT PIE ONION PASTRY 
1 tbsp. shortening
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 cans tomato soup
1/8 tsp. oregano
1 can green beans, drained
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. sugar

Heat shortening, add beef and onion. Cook just until meat is brown. Stir in green beans, soup and seasonings. Pour filling into onion pastry lined pie plate. Place top crust over filling. Bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes. This makes a large pie.

CRUST:

2 c. flour
3/4 c. Crisco
1 tsp. onion salt
Cold water

Make as for usual pie crust, 400 degrees for glass and 425 degrees for metal pie plate.
