RHIANEN'S BEST BURGERS | |
3 lb. ground beef 1 tbsp. olive oil 1 small onion, finely chopped 2 celery stalks, minced 2 garlic cloves, squeezed through a garlic press 1 egg 1 tsp. pepper 2 tsp. seasoned salt (I like Johnny's) 1 tsp. paprika about 1/2 to 3/4 bottle barbecue sauce (you can use your favorite kind, but I like Sweet Baby Ray's Honey BBQ) large sesame or onion buns CONDIMENTS SUCH AS: ![]() ketchup mustard mayonnaise avocado pickles lettuce peppers shredded cabbage or slaw onion rings tomato slices Sauté onion, celery, and garlic in a small skillet in olive oil until soft and opaque. Let cool until you can touch the onion mix without burning your hands. Mix in a medium bowl with hamburger, egg, pepper, salt, and paprika. I recommend using your hands because it really mixes it up. You will know it is just right when it appears to form a ball like dough. Form into large patties, about 8. Barbecue on low, brushing the patties with your favorite barbecue sauce until thoroughly cooked. Enjoy! Submitted by: Rhianen McDonald |
