APPLE MAPLE WALNUT DESSERT | |
2 (20 oz. each) cans pie-sliced apples 1/2 to 3/4 cup maple syrup 2 tbsp. melted butter 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 cup chopped walnuts Spread apple slices evenly in a buttered shallow 1 1/2-quart baking dish. Pour enough maple syrup into dish to barely cover apples. Pour melted butter evenly over surface. Sprinkle evenly with cinnamon. Scatter walnuts over top. Bake at 350°F for about 30 minutes.
