1 c. butter
3/4 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs, well beaten
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 c. oatmeal
Cinnamon and sugar

In large mixing bowl, beat butter until creamy. Add sugar, mix well until lightly and fluffy. Add eggs, mix well. Stir together flour, salt, soda and cinnamon. Add sifted dry ingredients to creamed mixture; mix until well combined. Stir in oatmeal.

Form dough into 1 inch balls. Roll into cinnamon and sugar. Place on greased cookie sheet. Press down with fork. Place 1 inch apart. Bake at 400 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes. Cool and place in tightly covered container. Makes 4 1/2 to 5 dozen cookies.
