TWINKIE CAKE 
1 pkg. yellow cake mix
1 c. milk
5 tbsp. flour
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. Crisco
1/2 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Bake and cool one 9 x 13 inch yellow cake mix. Prepare filling: Mix and boil milk and flour, stirring constantly until thick. Set it aside until completely cold, then beat it until smooth and fluffy. Add next 5 ingredients, one at a time and continue beating. Slice cake in half lengthwise. Spread filling between layers and cover cake. Let stand for 24 hours to develop flavor.
