TWINKIE CAKE 
1 yellow cake mix
1 sm. pkg. instant vanilla pudding
1 c. water
1/3 c. oil
1/2 tsp. salt
3 eggs

Mix all together and mix according to cake mix directions. Line 9 x 13 inch pan with wax paper. Cool and cut lengthwise with thread. (Invert on cookie sheet.)

CREAM FILLING:

3 tbsp. flour
1 c. water

Cook until thick, then cool. (Refrigerate.)

1/2 c. Crisco
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 tsp. vanilla
Dash of salt

Beat on high speed 8 to 10 minutes. Add flour and water mixture. Mix well. Spread between layers. Dust with powdered sugar. Bake according to cake mix directions.

NOTE: Can use chocolate cake and chocolate pudding.
