KING RANCH CASSEROLE WITH BEEF
It's kind of like a 7 layer casserole.

2 lb. ground beef
1 pkg. taco seasoning
1 cup canned corn (optional)
10 flour tortillas
1 can ranch style beans
1-2 cans Rotel tomatoes
1 family size can cream of mushroom soup
2 to 4 cups cheese (any kind, but the Mexican blend by Kraft is good)

Brown ground beef. Add taco seasoning. Split in half. Mix the first half of ground beef with 1 cup corn, if desired. Place in large baking dish. Spread out on bottom of dish. Layer the tortillas on top of the meat, then add second half of ground beef with can of ranch style beans, mix, and spread on top of tortillas.

Spread 1-2 cups of shredded cheese on top of meat evenly. Spread 1-2 cans of Rotel on top of cheese. Spread out 1-2 more cups of cheese evenly on top of Rotel. Spread cream of mushroom soup on top of cheese.

Bake at 350°F for 30 to 45 minutes. Enjoy!

I want to make this but i can't seem to get Ranch beans. What can I substitute?

This is a great dish! My can opener worked just fine (It normally doesn't). One thing I didn't like when dishing it up was the tortillas. I think next time I'll cut the tortillas up. So far I've given some to my next-door neighbor and some to the handyman. Waiting for the critique.

I guess I'm the only one who made this. The answer to my first question is pinto beans. The response to the dish was 'too bland'. Next time in addition to the cut-up tortillas (and not so many) I'll use a jalapeno. I liked it though. Anybody else want to weigh in?
