SEVEN LAYER DINNER 
2 c. sliced potatoes
1 c. sliced carrots
1 c. chopped onion
1 lb. hamburger - browned
Salt and pepper to taste
1/3 c. raw rice
1 c. chopped celery
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1 qt. tomatoes

Bake 3 hours at 350 degrees (or crock pot).

I make this recipe, but instead of chopped tomatoes that I find makes it to soggy, I use tomato soup, and for the "water content" I put in two cans of sweet peas. Also I don't use green peppers. and instead of browned hamburger I put in raw hamburger and put Italian seasoning on the hamburger and pour the tomato soup over it (makes like a meatloaf type taste). Very hearty meal.

I make this with all above ingredients without the rice & green peppers. Instead I layer with cabbage & whole kernel canned corn Same cooking instructions in crock pot. Good Comfort Food.
