ONION-HERB HAMBURGER BUNS 
2 pkg. dry yeast
2 c. warm water (105~ to 115~)
1/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. dry milk powder
1/3 c. butter, shortening or butter
1 egg
2 1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. caraway seed
2 tbsp. toasted dry onion
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
6 1/2 to 7 c. flour

In large bowl, dissolve yeast in the water. Stir in next 8 ingredients and 3 cups of the flour. Beat until smooth, about 5 minutes. Turn dough over in a greased bowl; cover and refrigerate 24 hours to 4 days.

To make rolls, punch down dough. Turn out on unfloured board. Divide dough into 16 round buns. Place 2-inches apart on greased baking sheets. Cover and let rise in a warm place until dough is almost doubled (about 1 hour). Brush with melted butter and bake at 400°F for 10 to 12 minutes.
