APPLE-PUMPKIN FRITTERS 
4 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. nutmeg
2 cups canned applesauce
1 cup canned pumpkin
1 cup biscuit mix (Bisquick)
1/4 cup butter

Mix eggs, sugar, spices, applesauce and pumpkin. Stir in biscuit mix, but do not beat. Heat butter in skillet; add 1/4 cup batter for each fritter. Fry about 8 minutes, turning once to brown both sides. Add more butter as needed.
