The World's Best Peanut Butter Cookies

 Jeff Anderson (California) says:
I tried them without the peanut butter, sugar or butter for health reasons and they turned out quite good. I did serve them with two scoops of vanilla ice cream on top

So... i made some peanut butter cookies from a cook book but also made these just because they looked easier. Maybe its something i did but these weren't so great which doesn't make sense because of the recipe got a lot of good reviews. The recipe from the book was way better.

 Shannon (Maryland) says:
I put a banana slice on top and a pinch of crushed mixed nuts and it turned out delicious. I had to cook them for 20 minutes but I did have large cookies (2-3 inch diameter).

Must have done something wrong, I like chewy cookies. These were hard and took a long time to bake.

 The Mominator (Maryland) says:
Very good, but FYI the yield is 6 dozen, not 3 dozen.

 Roy (Maine) says:
Easy recipe, but they are NOT the world's best, they are dry and crumbly, not moist. I won't use this recipe again, and can't recommend it.

 Channy (Pennsylvania) replies:
Whoever says these cookies aren't the best or that they are hard and dry, it has nothing to do w/ the cookie or the recipe, it's how YOU made them. Mine come out perfect every time.

 Tracy Kinard (Georgia) says:
I haven't tried this recipe yet. I was wondering if anyone has tried it using the new Honey Peanut Butter?

 Dawn (Wisconsin) says:
These cookies were exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a recipe that used butter and not shortening, that tasted peanut-buttery, and had that classic peanut butter cookie texture. The only thing I did differently was to chill the dough for 2 hours before rolling into balls and flattening with a fork in the typical criss-cross pattern. After that I baked them exactly as the recipe said and they were perfect!

I made these for a coworker and my family. The best cookie ever I did the ten min but otherwise followed the recipe. Soft moist and delicious!

Came out great ~ could use a tiny bit more flavor, like almond extract maybe? I added half a cup of Nutella to give it a twist. Super yum!

 Sandee Bothwell (Alberta) says:
Seriously good! These cookies spread so they are crisp and chewy. Love them!

I had a hankering for peanut butter cookies last night and came across this recipe. After reading the many reviews on hoe delicious these cookies were I decided to give them a try. While it did made a ton of cookies (52 to be exact using just half the dough) these was definitely NOT the worlds best peanut butter cookies.

 Shannon (Florida) says:
Fabulous cookies! I put a full 2 cups of "Wowbutter" brand soy butter (Walmart) that tastes JUST like real peanut butter because I'm very allergic to peanuts and they turned out delicious! (and much healthier than real peanut butter too, by the way) I like my cookies soft on the inside so I baked them for exactly 10 mins @350°F (did the criss cross on top for nostalgia reasons lol! :)) Perfect!!! Thank you!
