QUICK AND EASY YEAST BISCUITS | |
1 pkg. yeast 1 c. warm water 1/2 tsp. salt 3 tbsp. shortening 2 tbsp. sugar 2 1/2 c. flour Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add remaining ingredients; mix well. Knead 2-3 minutes. Roll out dough to 1/2 inch thick. Cut with a biscuit cutter. Let rise 30-40 minutes until doubled in size on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-15 minutes or until brown. |
